Well made, seems like it should last a long time. Great addition to my Cutco carving set, fits in the holder as well. I wish all of the Toadfish kitchen knives in the set could be bought individually as I prefer buying only the knives I want to use without additional.

The Toadfish Abalone 8 inch Chef Knife is everything I hoped for and more. The moment I picked it up I could feel the balance and quality. The blade glides through vegetables, meats, and herbs with almost no effort, and the edge stays razor sharp even after heavy use. The handle is gorgeous and feels secure and comfortable in my hand which makes prep work faster and actually enjoyable. This knife instantly became my go to in the kitchen and it performs like a premium tool worth far more than its price. Toadfish absolutely nailed it. Highly recommend.
